Crafted with interlocking blocks of flawless acrylic and brushed and anodized aluminum, this stunning amplifier inherits the dual-mono circuitry, ultra-short signal path, and heavily gold-plated printed circuit boards of Gryphon’s flagship models. The Diablo 120 boasts a custom-made 1,300 VA transformer, discrete secondary windings for left and right channels, and each channel fed by its own 60,000 µF capacitor bank. With 2 x 120 W (8Ω) and 2 x 440 W (2Ω) output power, the Diablo 120 offers exceptional high current capability and extraordinary wide audio bandwidth.

Featuring zero global negative feedback and a microprocessor-controlled passive attenuator, the Diablo 120 offers the most transparent volume control ever conceived, with a graphical vacuum fluorescent display and touch-sensitive front panel controls. The amplifier also offers one balanced and four single-ended inputs, four levels of display brightness, and individual source labeling with eight-character names.

The Diablo 120 can be fitted with a Gryphon DAC PCM/DSD module based on the innovative and award-winning Gryphon Kalliope digital-to-analogue converter. The module adds four digital inputs and is ready for any current or foreseeable high-resolution digital format. The Diablo 120 also offers the alternative of an exceptional MM/MC phonostage for those who still enjoy the musical treasures etched in the grooves of the long-playing, black vinyl disc.
